The recreated article is now located at User:Oskar Sigvardsson/United one heart foundation, in my userspace. Yeah, I just read it again, and it needs some serious rewriting. It's not really adhearing to neutral point of view right now. From the article you wrote, it's hard to really understand what the foundation does. First, answer me a few questions: It's an organization which provides medicine, medical technology and medical education to the third world, correct? In what countries does it operate? How much money does it contribute? Where is it located (in India?)? How many employees are there? Can you give me a short summary of the projects it's involved with? What's the history, how long has it existed? Who founded it? Try to come up with a few more of these, and notify me on my talk-page. Just give me the facts straight, as many as you know :P
You see, when I read the article right now, it sounds like it's an ad. I mean no offence, but it does sound like something that they would put in a press-release. At wikipedia, we don't do that. We try to describe just the bare facts and nothing else. I'm sure that if you let the facts speak for themselves, The United One Heart Foundation will come off looking great. I'm sorry for not responding for a while, it was an honest mistake :) I think you did a much better job of it, it's a fine article now. I loved that you put in a few references there, we love that! I did a fairly big edit for style to make it look more like a "wikipedia" article, but you did a great job! Read through it again and see if I did anything strange. I've moved it back, it's now at United OneHeart Foundation. I let the admin that deleted it know (it's only fair), but I don't think it will be deleted again. If it is, it would most likely be taken to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, which means that you can make a case for it too be included. However, I don't think it will be, but I'll be keeping an eye on it just in case. Let me know if you need any more help with anything else that is related to wikipedia, I'm here to help :) Cheers!   • The Performing Community: Thanks to many contributors like you, we're proud to share that our community is the third most performing community. It has more than 50 FAs related to India, to its credit, lagging only behing Wikiproject Biography and WikiProject Military History.

  • The Wikipedia 1.0 Assessment statistics for India related articles show there are 51 Featured Articles, 5 Class-A articles, 16 Good Articles, 101 Class-B articles, 167 Start-Class articles and more than 4000 Stubs. There were more than 10000 unassessed articles related to India.
What's New?
  • Indian Administrators: There are 21 Indian Administrators in Wikipedia at the last count. The recent Wikipedians to be successful at RFA were Lostintherush and Shyam Bihari.
  • Featured Articles: West Bengal (nom) and Syed Ahmed Khan (nom) were the last two articles from our WikiProject that were granted FA status.

  • Cartography Department (Shortcut:WP:INMAP): The Department of Cartography within the WikiProject India is a group of wikipedians who work on providing quality maps related to India. Their contributions gain more significance as we try to provide more information on places, districts and states of India. As a thumb rule, maps serve better if they are in SVG format. The location maps by the cartography department has helped us include location information based on latitudes and longitudes for a give place within India. The Indian Roadways map is a featured image, one amongst the few best road maps in the world. Still, there is more work to be done. There are 604 districts in India (see List of districts of India), and each district page needs a map of that district. You can help too. Contact the Cartography Department to learn how you can help in making the best maps in Wikipedia to be India-related!

Project News
  • Name change of cities in Karnataka: A straw poll was conducted on the proposal to change the name of cities in Karnataka, per the Nov 1, 2006 decision by the Karnataka government to rename them from the current anglicised forms. The result of the poll was to change the names. As controversial as the decision may be in the real world, the article Bangalore in Wikipedia still reflects the old name. You may be interested in knowing why. Dig the archives.
  • New Project Noticeboard (Shortcut:WP:INB): WikiProject India now sports a new colourful centralised noticeboard. An effort to make the noticeboard current and dynamic was mooted a few days back, and Ganeshk came up with the new format. The new noticeboard will strive to be the one-stop shop for all project related information. The shortcut is WP:INB.
  • Members List: The old members list is being phased out to give way for the new members list. New members are requested to add their names to the new members list. As the newsletter grows, further issues of the Project Newsletter will be delivered to those enlisted in the new list. So dash down now, to check if ur name is in there.

  • Project tagging:After a brief edit war over the addition of {{WP India}} to ancient archaeological sites now located in Pakistan, a "pre" parameter was introduced to remove the ROI flag from the template for pre-1947 articles, following discussion. After another large discussion on ANI alleging that the automated tagging by Ganeshbot and LostBot was "nationalistic", Ganeshbot was briefly blocked. Currently, the bots are again in action.
  • Swastika on Hinduism templates:Recently, an extremely large and at times emotional debate broke out regarding the use of the swastika on Hinduism templates, given its association with Nazism. As a result, {{Hindu Links}} now contains an educational message about the use of the swastika, as discussion on a more permanent resolution continues.

The department aims to provide services in transliteration, formulating scripts for various languages, as well as translating articles from one language to another and validating sources in other languages to that of the encyclopedia article. If you are looking for a friendly translator here is your go-to point. Currently, we are still seeking representation for Kashmiri, Nepali, Oriya, Sindhi and Tulu, as well as reinforcements in all other languages.

I noticed you appear to be involved in biology articles or WikiProjects relating to biology and human processes. This article, on a method for evaluating biological utilizations rates of proteins in humans and animals, was started in August and is in need of the attention of an expert. We are having trouble locating one and the article desperately needs it. This method is used constantly in bodybuilding magazines and products and is the subject of much misinformation and half-truths. On the other hand it does appear to have some value. Please help if possible. In case you're wondering why I picked you I just looked through some Science WikiProjects and biology articles and your name appeared a lot in one or both categories. Incidentally if you decide not to do this for whatever reason there's no need to reply. I'll just take it you're busy or uninterested and leave it at that. Thanks.
