    • Feel free to improve. Google for medireview[1]. There are pages created in 2003 which use this term. Perhaps the article should better be in the Wikipedia namespace, as I wrote it primarily as a reaction on seeing some dubious stuff here. I have some fears, that several lemmata of medireview quality may be spawned from Wikipedia abuse. -- Pjacobi 06:58, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • As it stands now, it's interesting. I'd like to see appropriate categories so that we can make it accessible to people who don't know the term but are researching Internet slang and Internet neologism. However, with the way it has been expanded, it's a keeper. Geogre 12:59, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. I remember the incident, it was interesting, and it's at least possible that someone trying to remember the details might search for it under that name. Should be a merge-and-redirect into a suitable larger article if there is one. This isn't a spelling-checker incident, it's more subtle and more sinister, but it reminds me of the Australian newspaper that published an article by a very conservative columnist, and, on its website and in print gave the columnist's name as "Jeff Jackboot." It was, in fact, by Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby. And of course there are many stories about people with names like Babcock who find out that some big ISP won't let them use it as an email address or a username because it tripped their bad-language detector.
