This article makes no attempt whatsoever to present a balanced view of its subject and is written in a manner to advance a particular position rather than a neutral encyclopedia article. You are welcome to add more contrary research if there is any but basically every study I found when I was researching this said exactly the same thing--that portrayals are negative and/or stereotyped. Calliopejen1 (talk) 08:33, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
Given a Royal Commission and a federal government inquiry made recommendations to improve Media portrayals of Indigenous Australians, I don't quite see why the article fails to meet NPOV. Have recent edits improved it to the extent the tag can be removed? Although there are guidelines encompassing positive portrayal and providing balanced ... I don't see anybody reporting that this is a great Australian success story. --Matilda talk 05:31, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
