[edit] Move article?
Why not move this to US media? Susan Mason
I think the larger problem is consistency with similar articles. There are: Media in Canada, Media in Poland, Belarusian media, Media of Venezuela. Also, Communications in the United Kingdom, Communications in Vietnam, Communications in Vanuatu, Communications in Uzbekistan, Communications in Yemen, etc. cover similar topics. (Just search with 'Communcations' and you will get a bunch, probably because of some public domain source was imported.)
I'm not against renaming this page, but a wider solution might be needed for this situation. Tomos 02:32 Mar 12, 2003 (UTC)
(just a note..)
Overview
- industrial organization
- ownership structure
- major players
- flows of programs/contents and money

[edit] Internet
Given the point I made (Media of the United States#Internet) about links to organisations that charge to see articles, would it be useful to make a list or newspapers, etc. that charge to see their archives and those that don't? This might be handy for wikipedia editors who want to put a link in to corroborate some part of their article, but who would prefer not to use a source that charges for its material. Will also post this to Village Pump. Matt Stan 09:41, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
