[edit] Move proposal

As the lead (uncited BTW) says, "Townsville is the media centre for North Queensland". I suggest this article be renamed to Media in North Queensland to enable more general content and thus avoiding issues with respect to WP:LOCAL. (In a semi-related issue, Media in the City of Thuringowa is now at AfD (discuss)). —Moondyne 14:22, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Having Media in North Queensland is a bit misleading, unless the article was going to take in all of the media, eg Charters Towers, Ingham, Ayr, Home hill etc or for now just re-name it Media in the cities of Townsville and Thuringowa or media in Townsville/Thuringowa and then a casual reader wont be misled into thinking Thuringowa is much bigger than it actually is. Or the best yet would be to leave it all as it is untill after March adn like i have said on the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Media in the City of Thuringowa page, i would be moving this info (or the part of it that is not the same as Townsville) over to the Media in Townsville page...but that my idea and it is now up to everybody else. My thoughts were to expand it to include Charters Towers, Ingham, Ayr, Home hill etc., else we need to find a home for those if someone is inclined to start editing that. —Moondyne 02:37, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
