[edit] Requested move
Current title is misleading. It's not just films on this list, I can also see numerous TV miniseries, TV episodes and even a music video. In addition, they aren't by Stephen King, they're merely based on his works. I'm at a loss over what to rename the list as, though. PC78 00:41, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- OK, how about List of filmed media based on the works of Stephen King as an alternative title? (Best I can come up with!) PC78 15:10, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

- Suggest moving to Adaptations of Stephen King works or List of adaptations of Stephen King works. Otto4711 03:14, 6 July 2007 (UTC) [copied from WP:RM by Stemonitis 07:46, 6 July 2007 (UTC)]
- Stephen King works adapted to the visual media? Since it's not adaptations to the audio media (such as radio plays)... 70.51.10.130 05:31, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Move
I decided on Media based on Stephen King works. We do have similar articles, such as Films based on Edgar Wallace works. This title is based on that. Seems the most logical to me. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 10:15, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- Aren't list articles supposed to be named "List of..." though? PC78 12:43, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born
I added this to the list, and restored it after someone deleted it for the reason "not a film". The title of the article is currently "Media based on Stephen King works", and I see from the above discussions that it was retitled such because there were works other than film projects already on the list. Unless someone can come up with an argument discounting comic books as a form of visual entertainment media, I think it belongs on the list. -- Pennyforth 13:43, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
