Template:Medlabs news Philprime (talk) 14:17, 4 June 2008 (UTC) I am in the beginning stages of creating the encyclopedic insertion for MedLab News. I am using the Laboratory News article as a template, which has not been picked as spam. this article is not a promotion insertion, merely a way of sharing information about science with the general public.
- Ideally if you want to create new articles like this - use your sandbox first. Then once you have a viable article that can't be contested for deletion, you can copy/paste it as a new wiki article. »xytram« talk 14:37, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

- Philprime (talk) 15:03, 4 June 2008 (UTC)*if this is totally necessary then delete the MedLab News article and i will create a new one that is not considered as a promotional article.

- I've removed the speedy deletion tag and added recommendations. This may also prompt others to improve it. If you want to re-write the article copy it to a user sandbox and once you've completed it - copy it back. Sorry if I seemed a little hasty in my previous messages. »xytram« talk 15:19, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Philprime (talk) 15:23, 4 June 2008 (UTC) not at all. i am new to this myself. my colleague had created the previous Laboratory News article and had asked if i could create this one, i wasnt aware that there were so many criteas that had to be met in order for this to go online. i will do my upmost to ensure that this is modified as quickly as possible to meet the correct criteria.
[edit] Intro
Philprime (talk) 16:26, 4 June 2008 (UTC) ah, i see now. ensure i have noted the way this is written and will get to changing asap. and thanks for the cookie, after the day i've had its needed :)
UPDATED
I've re-worded the first two paragraphs into more of how a wiki article should be shown. Try to avoid writing it like an advert. You can compare my version to the one currently on the article. Plus anything you write may need to be referenced and cannot be based on your own research.
MedLabNews is a UK quarterly science magazine aimed at scientists and science professionals at all levels and from all fields. Published by Metropolis International and edited by Alexandra Bailey, it made its first release in April 2008[citation needed] with great success. Like its sister magazine Laboratory News, the magazine covers all aspects of scientific discovery and advances in the laboratory sector. However, MedLabNews also focuses more closely on the medical, clinical and diagnostic fields of science.[citation needed]
MedLabNews has three websites associated with the publication. The MedLabNews and Laboratory News websites include various sections, such as News, new products for the laboratory industry, opinion polls, jobs, and events. The Lab News Directory allows users to search for products and services relevant to the laboratory industry.[citation needed]
