Medyka

Medyka is a village in Poland, in Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in Przemyśl County, with about 2800 inhabitants (as of 2006). It is the seat of Medyka Commune (Gmina Medyka). It is located about 10 km east of Przemyśl, very near the border with Ukraine. One of the main road border crossings between Poland and Ukraine is located there. One of the main rail lines between Poland and Ukraine runs through the village and crosses the border nearby.
