Medicago arabica (Spotted Medick, Heart Clover) is a flowering plant of the family Fabaceae. It is native to the Mediterranean basin but is found throughout the world. It forms a symbiotic relationship with the bacterium Sinorhizobium medicae, which is capable of nitrogen fixation.
