MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences - ( M.I.M.S ) is a medical college, under the deemed NTR University in India. It is located in the rural area of Ghanapur in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It adheres to the same medical rules as prescribed by the Medical Council of India.
The Medical Council of India has now given RECOGNIZED status to Mediciti on August 24, 2007. A new batch will be permitted for 2007.
Founded by the Non-Residential Indians - NRIs from the United States collectively founded a non-profit organization called S.H.A.R.E - Science and Health Allied Research & Education.
It was the primary center for casualties for the victims of the Hyderabad Lumbini Park bomb blasts which occurred on August 24, 2007.
