Meden School is a school in Market Warsop, Nottinghamshire, England, with some 1300 pupils.
Mrs Kate Reid is the current headteachers. There are four houses Whiteman (yellow), Clifton (Blue), Pagnell (Green) and Rutland (Red) Mr R Poppleton took over the headship from Mr Ellis until he retired in 1997. Mr Poppleton studied biology at Nottingham University which he taught at Portland School, Worksop for 16 years, before becoming Deputy Head. Mr P Cook became Head at Meden who left at the end of the summer term 2002 when Mr J Shaw became headteacher he then left in 2006 and Mrs Kate Reid became head. Deputies are Mr Gibson and Mrs Brashaw.
The school is constantly improving and is one of the best in the area. Some famous faces who have come from Meden include Steve Frost who is the producer of Coronation Street and many others. There are extensive ICT facilities and the school has a sixth form.
