Medaram is a holy village in Warangal district of India. There is a famous Jatara called "Samakka sarakka" celebrated on a biennially basis in this village. This is India's second largest jatara. This is biggest congregation after Kumbha Mela in India. The year 2008 is expecting around 60-80 lakh devotees for this famous jatara. Medaram is located 120 km away from the Warangal city, this village is surrounded by forest and it connected via road. See www.Medaram.org for further details.
