Medaram is a holy village in Warangal district of India. There is a famous Jatara called "Samakka sarakka" celebrated on a biennially basis in this village. This is India's second largest jatara. This is biggest congregation after Kumbha Mela in India. The year 2008 is expecting around 60-80 lakh devotees for this famous jatara.
