Meda of Odessa (in Greek Μήδα), was a Thracian princess, daughter of the Thracian king Cothelas and wife of king Philip II of Macedon. Philip married her after Olympias. When Philip died, Meda committed a suicide so that she would follow Philip to the Ades. The people of Macedonia who was not used to such honours to their kings by their consorts, they buried her with him at the Great Tulumus of Vergina, in a separate room. The second larnax found in the tomb belongs to her.
