Mechow's Mole Rat (Cryptomys mechowi) is a species of rodent in the Bathyergidae family. It is found in Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia, and possibly Malawi. Its natural habitats are moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland.
