[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Lionel Tarassenko.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Lionel Tarassenko.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. --cohesion★talk 10:02, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] French geographical stubs
Thanks for creating articles describing places in France such as Sajas and Tilh. When you create a short article, it's a good idea to place a stub notice on it. I've done the two above for you. For these articles, a suitable template to add to the bottom is {{france-geo-stub}}. Many thanks, JRawle (Talk) 16:31, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Cocoon.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cocoon.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Sigma-finite measure
I reverted your edits at Sigma-finite measure as they were not right. A sigma finite measure is not necessarily finite. Cheers, Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 02:57, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- And please use a edit summary to explain what you change. It is easier for us to read that way. Thanks! Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 02:58, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Style tips
Hi. Thank you for your addition to Cartesian product. And a tip. Per the style manual, one should write
== Abbreviated form ==
instead of
== Abbreviated Form ==
That's just the house style. :) And also, a good idea is to use edit summaries, it helps us understand what you changed. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 15:00, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Desk job
A tag has been placed on Desk job, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Owainbut 12:04, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, I've redirected the page to White-collar worker. I hope you don't mind. (Or, in Wikispeak [see above], "The page has been redirected to White-collar worker. It is hoped that it is not minded.") All the best, <KF> 13:15, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] June 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Sidewalk, was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. DarkAudit 15:19, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Sidewalk. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. --Wiley 23:29, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pi
Hey there. I know it's been a while since you uploaded PiDigits.png, but I was wondering... Do you still have the exact data points that you used for the graph? I'd like to convert it to SVG to ease future editing. Thanks! tiZom(2¢) 02:45, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of CUBE
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on CUBE, by GreenJoe (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because CUBE seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting CUBE, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 04:09, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Data for Image:PiDigits.png
Where are the original data you used to plot Image:PiDigits.png? I need them to make an improved vector graphics version. —Keenan Pepper 07:33, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orange Wednesdays
Hi, I noticed your edits to Orange Wednesdays. I'm not sure that the information you provided is entirely correct as OW is not a lottery, instead preference is given to those that have a higher average monthly spend with Orange. RaseaC 19:31, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply, while I fully support the whole discussion thing, I don't think it's necessary in this instance: I reckon we can crack this one ourselves. Basically I see it this way:
- I can't find a source (reliable or otherwise) to support the 250'000 thing
- I can find a reliable source (T&Cs) to support the higher spend theory
- I'm not sure that, sourced or otherwise, either of the above are particularly noteworthy and so I for one would suggest just having a link to the Orange Wednesdays website and letting people read the nitty-gritty T&Cs for themselves. RaseaC 12:58, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Syngnathia
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Syngnathia, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 17:03, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Headings - capitals
Please avoid using capitals unless necessary - in headings, article titles, and in general. This is based on capitals used in Unweaving the Rainbow (Summary of the Logical Arguments). You may have learned this already, I don't know. Richard001 (talk) 01:18, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
