[edit] Awful page
The over-long plot description is a train-wreck. It reads like a seventh grade book report where the kid only watched the movie. Someone should just delete the entire thing, wikipedia isn't supposed to have a line-by-line description of a movie. A short paragraph would suffice. Sorry if the author spent a lot of time on the piece, but, from reading it, the author probably spent a lot of time getting dressed this morning.
Some of the quotes are wrong as well. I know it's only a small thing but I think we are striving for the most accurate depiction of people, places and things. The quote should read "ignorant band of loyal followers.
- I agree. In addition, some comments on how the film was critically received would be helpful. Aaron 14:18, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- Attempted to streamline the plot somewhat. Still clunky, though. -- Captainsam8
[edit] ending
"Along with several of the film's loose ends, some viewers found this resolution to be unsatisfactory and maintained that this was a "cop out" by the writers."
I find that truly bizarre. To me, that was one of the funniest jokes in the whole movie. An error of George W. Bush proportions, to mistake "Lebanese" for "Lesbian". Not only does it completely tie off a loose end, it was hilarious, and the writers were smart enough to deliver it when least expected. Kasreyn 18:31, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The limit
I believe it doesn't exist. L'Hopital's rule yields the following: Which goes to , meaning that it is nonexistant. However, if it had said ln(1+x), then it might be different. Also, I believe that the movie said Sexually Active Band Geeks, not Sexually Active Nerds. JustPlainUncool
--I took this out. The limit does not exist. JustPlainUncool is correct. mlw1235
- This was certainly the most intellectually compelling aspect of the film. I immediately recognized the "indeterminant form" and applied l'Hôpital's Rule; indeed, the limit does not converge to any number; and the assetion by the lovely Miss Lohan was quite correct. This must be added back to the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.211.195.122 (talk) 20:57, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Movie Summary
Anyone else think this summary needs a good once-over? Not only does it contain numerous typographical errors, but also some factual errors (eg, incorrect quotes/plotpoints) and is generally overly long. Sentences like "Regina gets hit by a bus, wicked hard" don't quite seem all that encyclopedic in effort. 68.212.217.104 00:55, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] song
what is the 'theme song' in this movie? it doesn't say it on the wiki page and it doesn't say it on the official website, what is it? (does it even exist as a real song?) [by the way i mean the one that is played at the end of the 'Spring Fling'/ and... (i can't remember when they first play it!!)] If you know can you pleasssssssssssssssse tell me! 203.214.135.82 10:20, 13 January 2007 (UTC)JG ROX
it's called 'Built This Way' by Samantha Ronson, and the particlar version in the movie is the Slow Remix. does anyone know the name of the song playing at Cady's party?? 68.19.244.203 05:37, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Janis
It says in the analysis that Janis is revealed to be "unequivocably straight" at the end of the film, but she could be bisexual. I think that I can change this. Epa101 09:13, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A goof
Did anyone notice that Cady is taking two math classes? She is taking Calculus with Aaron, but she is also in Janus's class too. Would this mean that she is taking two math classes? Plus, you can see in the beginning that Mrs. Norbury's room is very math-oriented, which would support that this is also a math class. So unless Mrs. Norbury might teach the subject, I think someone should add the goof into the Trivia section.
- This is not a goof. Cady and Janis are in the same homeroom, though this is not explicitly stated in the film. Many American public high schools begin the day by sorting students into homerooms before first period. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 18.244.6.113 (talk • contribs) 07:30, 3 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Trivia
I was just wondering why my trivia (the one about the cafeteria montage using the theme music for futurama) was deleted. I cant seem to find an explanation in the edit history. if anyone has a reason, please contact me! YaddaYaddaBlahBlahBlah 07:48, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- I wish I knew also. I enjoyed that fact and shared it with friends as we were watching this movie. Maybe you should try putting it back. I feel it is interesting enough... all trivia is "pointless" but it's always fun to know things like this. -RKJ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.128.234.186 (talk) 21:33, 1 February 2007 (UTC).
[edit] pronunciation
Why specify that Cady is pronounced kay-dee? I'm as imaginative as the next chap but is there really another way to pronounce it in, y'know, English? —Tamfang 08:16, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- CAH-dee perhaps? I'd say it warrants a mention; the mispronunciation of her name was revisited multiple times in the movie. Pumpkingrrl 05:37, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Coach Carr thought
This is just a random thing I thought of when it reaired on TBS today but isn't it sort of creepy that John Mark Karr and Coach Carr are just sort of similar? I dunno.-Babylon pride 04:51, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Carpal Tunnel error
Tina Fey herself said on The E True Hollywood Story that after filming, they realized that Mr. Duvall was wearing his cast for an entire school year, which is more time than would be needed in real life. I added that to his character and someone deleted it. That should be put in there, as it's more information on the whole "carpal tunnel/cast" for Mr. Duvall.
Why shouldn't this be included?
- This is why: WP:TriviaCander0000 (talk) 05:12, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
This is very funny and I agree that it should be added. I had the surgery myself and only had a bandage on for 10 days. 82.38.83.222 15:43, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia
WHO REMOVED ALL THE TRIVIA. it was so fun and interesting to read.someone needs to put it back. what happened?!
- Articles should not have trivia sections. ShadowHalo 04:12, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Plot Rewrite
I have rewritten the plot. It's not very good, but it's better than before. Feel free to change the details. I've also deleted the "Characters" section. Film articles are not supposed to have this section - see Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/Style guidelines.— н¡ρρi iρρ¡ 13:36, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Plot Rewrie
I liked the character section. Is there any way that we can have more info about the characters?
[edit] Field hockey or lacrosse?
There is a minor edit war going on about the game Regina is playing at the end of the film: field hockey or lacrosse. I'm seeking consensus from people who are knowledgeable. Thanks. Ward3001 (talk) 18:36, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
