Me is a song produced & written by Shep Crawford for R&B singer Tamia. The song was released as the second single from her fourth LP "Between Friends". The song was recorded in 2003-2004, and was originally included in her third album, 'Still'. Later, with the release of 'More', some tracks were removed from the original tracklist, including 'Me'. [edit] Song Information

The song is about the protagnist who is quiet with a sarcastic smile. When her boyfriend asks about someone else, she answers, "Yes. Hell yeah." He then asks if it's a man or a woman. Tamia says yes and her name is me. She then proceeds to tell him it's not working and she chooses to make herself happy and leave. She then says Me is forming a threesome "Me,Myself, and I". She ends with the chorus and repeating "I choose me. I gotta go with me."

[edit] Music Video

The music video for the song was directed by Margaret Malandruccolo, who later shot the video for "Almost". The video begins with Tamia laying down on a bed until the questions about a lover arise. We then see hands and someone on the edge of the bed. In the second verse, it shows Tamia while a woman walks around in different outfits. In the end Tamia is sitting at her vanity and she reveals her stomach proclaiming that she is pregnant.
