[edit] Merge into: Minor places in Middle-earth, Minor places in Beleriand

How ruthless are we going to be regarding merging very short articles into these lists? For example Amon Obel consists of two sentences but merging it would remove it from the Hills of Middle-earth category. Thu 10:54, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

I think we should be pretty ruthless, but have something like 'Places of Middle-earth' (including listing non 'minor' ones, but just with a link to the full article)... and then have sub-sections like 'Hills' with a 'See main article Hills of Middle-earth'. So the category may end up going away, but there would then be a list page containing all of the hills. --CBD 23:26, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
