Well, I am not sure. Most of the sources (as en.wiki also does) state that Weissmüller was born in Szabadfalu (Freidorf), but some sources also mention Međa (Párdány). --Koppany 16:36, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Johnny Weissmüller was born in Szabadfalu (Freidorf), this is a fact confirmed by his son. This interview of his son, taken in Timisoara in 2004 confirms he was born in Romania (as well in his book Tarzan, My Father by Johnny Weissmuller, Jr) . Read also the genealogy of the Weissmüller family. The rumours about Johnny Weissmüller being born in Međa are spread for economical interest. --Zmiklos 19:06, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
