[edit] Steve Garvey
You have a cite for that change to Steve Garvey? Please add a source for his "married and divorced twice". Thanks ~ WikiDon 20:58, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- I modified it so that he is currently married. imdb and nndb claim he was divorced in 1997. I will assume that they are wrong unless there is another source. I mainly wanted to add the fact he had a first marriage. It was not mentioned at all. MDfoo 22:10, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- I lay no claim to that. That's what the article said it was before I edited it. This was the article before my first edit. Is this his 2nd wife or not? MDfoo 01:03, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ten-pin Bowling
McDoo: Please refrain from further vandalism to the Ten-pin bowling article. Your claim to be removing "unsourced" material is rendered factitious by your failure to remove all unsourced material in the section. Random selection and removal of sentences in wikipedia articles is destructive and against wikipedia policy. As you probably realized, the sentence in question is "unsourced" to enhance the article's readability, to maintain its overall structure and consistency, and because it is a common and accepted term in bowling terminology. Please familiarize yourself with the staple terms of bowling before returning to the article. Alternatively, you might read the following two books and then provide the citations yourself: 1. Mike Aulby: Bowlilng 200+. McGraw-Hill, 1989. 2. Durbin & Herbst: From Gutterballs to Strikes (circa 1998).
As I will not be returning to this page any plea for clemency or further discussion should be directed to my talk page.Snookerhorn (talk) 07:34, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
