MCW Light Heavyweight Championship

The MCW Light Heavyweight Championship was a championship in Maryland Championship Wrestling professional wrestling promotion contested for by light-heavyweight wrestlers.[1]

Pearl in a six-way match to become the first champion.
Title retired September 20, 1998 Baltimore, MD The title was retired following Shamrock's death on August 18, 1998. Shamrock
was named "Lifetime Heavyweight Champion" by MCW. Subsequently, the MCW Cruiserweight Championship took its place as the main title of the light heavyweight (or cruiserweight) division.
