A tag has been placed on Hills West Football, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mcrispi71 02:39, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
I will work on it tomorrow
Please avoid personal attacks like your vandalism to my user page. In any event, when I reviewed the article, all it was one sentence about how great Hills West Football was and, after adding the {{hangon}} tag, nothing had been added to it for an hour or so or put on the article's talk page. I know you said you would work on it tomorrow, but it didn't seem promising.
Further, we rarely have articles on individual high schools' football programs (College is a different thing). If you would like to add material about Hills West Football, a much better place for it would be in the article about the high school (if there isn't one, you can create it). Also, don't go into too much detail ... you'll be writing for a worldwide audience, and what might be interesting and notable to people in the Long Island high school football scene may not really be to the rest of the world (which, remember, considers this to be football. Just some helpful suggestions. Daniel Case 02:58, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
