McMillan Island

McMillan Island is a small (approximate 2 km²) island in the Fraser River, opposite Fort Langley, British Columbia. It is the main reserve of Kwantlen First Nation and the south bank port for the Albion Ferry.
The Halq'eméylem word for the island is Sqwàlets, meaning "the river went through."
