Talk:McLeod Residence
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This place has received extensive coverage in The Stranger, the Seattlest, a mention in GQ magazine, and more outlets. Also, it was linked from 43 Things because the same person founded both 43 Things and the McLeod Residence. This place is notable. Reverted tag. White 720 21:30, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Reverted again because the article doesn't say why it's notable. All I can tell is that it's a commercial gallery and a private club. Wikipedia is not the yellow pages. 82.71.48.158 00:52, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Finally, if you're going to link to this at all, I would recommend something like Arts in Seattle rather than 43 Things, which it is not conceptually related to. 82.71.48.158 01:03, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

- There is significant coverage from numerous sources in the Seattle mass-media and art press -- all reliable sources addressing the notability of an art gallery and social club that has hosted several notable events in its first year of operation. If you don't think it's notable, then list it on AfD and let a consensus form. White 720 05:24, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

- It doesn't matter that the notabiltity is in the references. Put it in the article, dammit. 82.71.48.158 08:08, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
