McLane High School (Fresno Unified School District) is a 9-12 public high school in Fresno, California located at the corner of Cedar and Clinton. Comprised of approximately 2300 students, it features a full academic curriculum as well as football stadium, track, and a breaking pool. Despite old buildings, the middle of campus is lush with trees and there is also a fountain in the middle of campus.

McLane has a variety at sports including soccer, volleyball, water polo, basketball, tennis, baseball, softball, badminton, wrestling, cross country, swimming, football, and track and field. There is also a full JV/V cheer squad.
Doing sports at McLAne also makes your transcript look better for other colleges to see. They help keep you focused.Sports form the type of individual you can become with aspects of commitment and determination. Duncan students can also join our sports programs. A 2.0 GPA(Grade Point Average)[1] and sports physical is required for all athletes at McLane High School.

In 2007 McLane became the recipient of the QUEIA (Quality Education Investment Act) grant and thus will be expanding Small Learning Communities for the 2008 school year.
Freshmen Academy
Medical Magnet Medical Magnet classes that are GATE. These classes specialize in medicine. These classes are hard but you experience a lot of things, like doctors visiting the classes, their offices, and them teaching the students. You also get a lot of hands on experience working with real patients such as learning First Aid.
Turning Points Academy (TPA) TPA started in 1994 as a partnership between CSU Fresno(Dr. Daughtry) and McLane High School(Frank Silvestro)[1]. A program that gives 140 sophomores the opportunity to take their classes plus two actual college courses on a college campus for an entire semester. You also get college credit for when you actually go to college.

McLane Business Academy In collaboration with County Bank[2], McLane has the only on-campus bank on a high school campus west of the Mississippi.

AVID (Advance Via Individual Determination) AVID is a program at McLane that helps students be organized, provides help and also teaches them to be prepared for college. AVID is a community support system with tutoring, career planning and mentoring.
