Dead horse ? What about all dead dogs, cats etc. ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.96.72 (talk • contribs) 11:25, 6 April 2008

It's a significant death. Look up BBC's 'the one show' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.18.173.229 (talk) 02:03, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes a Dead Horse? A dead horse that came second in the Grand National and won the summer national. Also one of the horse's that was more of a prominent horse. Also the feature horse on The One Show. So Many reasons! Chandlerjoeyross (talk) 11:39, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] dead horses

If we want to include animals among famous (infamous) dead people what does it say about our priorieties ? "Famous" dead horse is just a dead horse that was making money for its owner. Too bad people made it run for their own entertainment. Breeding animals to make money,to make them look cute ? What does it say about our civilization? Besides if I am not mistaken a horse is not build to be burdened by a rider (weak spine). Of course horses (and some other pets) were necessery to humans in the past but not today. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.96.72 (talk) 12:19, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

That has nothing to do with this article. No matter how many unsigned comments you make it will not change the world of horse racing. Stop judging editors morals! Chandlerjoeyross (talk) 21:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] dead animals

I do not want to change your world. I only want to keep the two species separate when it comes to mentioning their names after they die. Let us keep it in perspecive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.96.72 (talk • contribs) 05:49, 8 April 2008

[edit] Original research

Notability is determined solely by media coverage. If wikipedia contributors try to decide unilaterally what is notable and what is not, that is original research. Jdcooper (talk) 13:14, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Sorry that was unclear. My point being, because this horse has been covered by multiple non-trivial independent sources, it is notable, whether or not it is a "dead horse". Jdcooper (talk) 13:15, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
