McIntosh College, located in Dover, New Hampshire, was founded in 1896 and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. It grants Associate degrees in a variety of vocational areas, including business management, criminal justice, graphic design and massage therapy. It is operated by the Career Education Corporation, a for-profit post-secondary education provider.

McIntosh College was founded in 1896 under the name of Dover Business College. It was founded by A.D. Bliss. David McIntosh, CPA, purchased the school in 1902, giving it its present name. Since 1967, McIntosh has been authorized by the General Court of the State of New Hampshire with the approval of the Post-Secondary Education Commission to offer graduates the Associate Degree in Business Science. McIntosh joined Career Education Corporation in 1999.[1]

Career Education Corporation announced on 2006-11-15 that it was going to sell several colleges that it owns, including McIntosh College. On 2008-02-15, CEC announced a plan to let current students complete programs and to close the college by the end of 2009.[2][3][4]

McIntosh College is located in Dover, New Hampshire. Students at the college are able to visit a staffed campus library and library with access to LexisNexis. The library also houses art exhibitions, guest speakers and cultural events.
The McIntosh campus comprises several buildings spread out over 11 acres in a central residential area of Dover, New Hampshire. Most programs, including the library and administrative offices, are housed in the central building. The Academy of Design and Technology and the Culinary Arts Academy, however, have their own facilities located in outlying buildings.

McIntosh College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the State of New Hampshire Postsecondary Education Commission.
