[edit] Eligibility Requirement

Road to a Republic says that "The only eligibility requirement for a head of state under the 'McGarvie Model' would be Australian citizenship because the process for selecting the head of state is designed to ensure a non-political head of state" referenced to Mr Jack Hammond QC and Ms Juliette Brodksy, Submission 719, page 7 &14-15.

However I am not sure thats the logic McGarvie used. --Dlatimer 17:32, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
