McGruff (Born Herbert Brown) also known as "Herb McGruff" is an American, Underground Hip Hop rapper from Harlem, New york. Protege of Heavy D, He was in the now defunct hip hop group Children of the corn, founded by Big L (Corleone), which included McGruff, Murder mase (Now known as Mase), Killa Kam (Now known as Cam'ron), and Cam'ron's cousin Bloodshed. both Mase and Cam'ron left the group to pursue basketball careers and Big L and Bloodshed died before the crew could become successful.
The song Harlem Kids Get Biz was sampled on Harlem Streets by Immortal Technique, the chorus samples the verse "Homicide Harlem blow.. whats the problem?".
