The McAllister Hotel was a hotel high-rise in Downtown Miami, Florida at 50 Biscayne Boulevard. It was built in 1913 and for nine years until 1922, it was the tallest building in Miami and Florida at ten floors high. It was demolished in 1988, and its site is now the home of 50 Biscayne Tower built in 2007 at 554 ft (169 m). The McAllister Hotel is considered Miami's first skyscraper and was a Miami icon until its demolition.
