McAdoo, Texas

McAdoo is an unincorporated community in northwestern Dickens County, Texas, United States.

Invenergy LLC is currently building a 150 MW wind power plant in this community. The project consists of 100 GE 1.5 MW

wind turbines and will be online in late summer/early fall 2008.  The project is providing a large economic boost for the area and most of the population.

The Spur Independent School District serves area students.
