MC Chill (born Vernon Johnson in Compton, California 1970) is a co-founder of the Compton based hip hop group, Compton's Most Wanted, along with the frontman MC Eiht. However during the childhood, Chill was dropped out of highschool and hooked up with the neighbourhood MC Eiht forming the group.[1] Chill has also been producing several albums which include, The Hard Way released in 2004 by the Long Beach based supergroup, 213. He took only part on the debut album of C.M.W., It's a Compton Thang as he was sentenced to prison for three years and couldn't come back since the group broke up. However he appeared on the reunite album, Represent. MC Chill is set for releasing his debut solo, Chill Factor in 2008.[2]
