The MBADiversity Organization (http://www.mbadiversity.org) is a 501 c 3 inclusive MBA prep program and professional membership organization. This inclusive, non-segregated organization was founded in 2003 by an African American woman, Keisha Dawn Entzminger, who was given the vision at the age of 25 while applying to top business schools. Ms. Entzminger was unable to afford a comprehensive test preparation course to raise her GMAT® score. By her experience, this scholarship program now exists so that every qualified person has access to higher education.

The organization's mission is to help create economic parity, access to higher education, and gender equity in the communities of all races, nationalities, genders, and creeds.

The MBADiversity Organization manages its global portal, its Fellows Program (which includes a GMAT® Scholarship), and the National MBA Diversity Symposium & Social, all targeting both domestic and international members.

Milestones:

*August of 2003: launched MBADiversity's comprehensive portal to fill a void noticed from former application seasons. The portal has provided a level of transparency about the MBA process from three vantage points: prospective, current, and alumni MBA. It has also promoted the value of an MBA degree to millions of people across the world.

*January of 2005: the organization launched its Fellows Program- which includes a GMAT® Preparatory Scholarship- the first inclusive, multicultural MBA prep program of its kind. Manhattan GMAT and Kaplan Test Prep(R) were the sponsors for the first year. The Fellows program is open to everyone. One of its goals is to also help under-represented groups.

*August 27th, 2005: founded the first Diversity Symposium & Social for the MBA community, which was held in Atlanta Georgia. Pioneering schools and institutions that participated in the Inaugural Symposium: The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, Goizueta School of Business (Emory), Haas School of Business of UC Berkeley, TMI Program at University of Michigan, and the Graduate Management Admissions Council(R).

*February of 2006: After successfully building a membership base of over 1350 and aiding hundreds of prospectives in business school matriculation, MBADiversity was ready to restructure. It has now become an accountable non-segregated, membership- based professional organization.

*April 21, 2006: The initiative was granted 501 c 3 status from the Internal Revenue Service.
