Hello, my name is Will Foster.
I was born May 5, 1982 , and raised in Elmira, OR, and attended high school at Elmira High School. I graduated High School in 2000, and went off to college at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, OR. My major was Software Engineering, and I enjoyed learning how to program in C++. I dropped out in the fall of 2005, and eventually moved to Springfield, OR to live with my sister for a few months. I got a job at Sage Software as a Customer Support technician, and provided support there for about a year before I was eventually outsourced to India and laid off.
I moved into the Onyx House[1], which is a local Christian college ministry of Eugene Faith Center[2] on University of Oregon campus. I live with 30 guys and 30 girls, and I am involved in the ministry doing Photography, Filmography, and mixing sound on the sound board. I have lived at the Onyx House for two years, and I have planned to live there at least one more. I do not currently attend school at either University of Oregon or Lane Community College.
I have also been involved at other Christian ministries, such as Camp Harlow[3] on the Impact team performing media tasks. Such as Program Videos, Photography, and Soundboard Technician. I have also helped out at Klamath Christian Center[4] in Klamath Falls, OR doing similar tasks, including computer work.
I am really interested in photography. I personally use a Nikon D200 with a couple accessories. Including: Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4, Speedlight SB-600, Speedlight SB-800, and more to come! I have been shooting photography professionally for a year now, and I started out with a Canon Rebel XT which I sold and put forward getting my Nikon D200 kit. I eventually in November 2007 upgraded to a Nikon D300, and sold my Nikon D200 for $1100 on Craigslist the next day.
Currently, I am working with My Little Salesman based in Eugene, OR performing QA, Testing, and Research on their web site. It is a lot of fun, and I actually enjoy my job!
