One among the well know Indian Social Movements popularly known as MKSS. Established in 1990 - led by Aruna Roy. The organisaiton played crucial role making Right to Information Act.

Its work began initially in the state of Rajasthan.[1] Now the legislation itself has been implemented in all states of India. Another legislation that is popularly attributed to efforts of this organisation is National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheeme.[2]. They are also began election watch programmes like in the city of Pushkar [3]
