Maynard Wishner

Maynard Wishner is a Jewish community leader, financier, and former actor in the Yiddish theater from Chicago. [1] [2] He graduated from the University of Chicago in 1945, and obtained a J.D. from the same institution in 1947. [3]
He has served as the National President of the American Jewish Committee [4], President of the Council of Jewish Federations [5], and Chairman of the Jewish United Fund [6].
In 2006, he was named winner of the American Jewish Committee Mensch Award. [7]
