"Maybe" was a single written by Tim Finn and Phil Judd and recorded by Split Enz in 1975 for the album Mental Notes. Bassist Mike Chunn did not play bass on this song, as he thought the song was too difficult. Producer David Russell ended up playing bass on the song. However, he did play piano on the b-side "Titus," which is also featured on the album.[1]
