You've uploaded an image of Plenty Uptopp which is under copyright. Unless you can demonstrate that you hold the copyright to that photo, or that it has been released into the public domain or under a license that is compatible with the GFDL, it will be deleted. Drop a note on the image's talk page if you have any objections. — Gwalla | Talk 06:21, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Hello there and welcome to Wikipedia! While we're generally an inclusive lot, we ask that any images you upload be demonstrably public domain, fair use, or otherwise legal for us to have. Images snagged from porn sites generally don't fall under those categories. Also, you may be interested to know that the site from which you linked the picture of Ms. Price attempts to load Malware on one's computer. Please consider running an Ad-Aware scan on your computer at once. Cheers, Mackensen 07:12, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)
If you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia's rules and regulations regarding copyrighted materials, please take a look at the Contributing FAQ and the Copyrights guide. I must warn you that if you continue to upload content that you are not entitled to contribute under the GFDL, and continue to be uncommunicative, you may be blocked from editing.
I have locked this talk page to keep it from being blanked until this has been sorted out. Please reply at this subpage. Thank you. — Gwalla | Talk 02:13, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
David Jonathan, You repeatedly ignored the requests to use only copyright-free images. (as seen in the history of this page) Unless you cease doing this, you will be banned from editing in wikipedia. Mikkalai 03:18, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I appologise. the rules concerning what is copyrighted and how to cite things are complicated. I appologise.
MaximusNukeage 05:14, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Please understand that there is BIG money in the pics of these lovely boobs. You live in the USA, aren't you? Lawyers can sue your sorry ass off you (or, what is much more probable, off wikipedia) once they get tipped. And the copyright rule to follow is very simple: if you don't know, then it is copyrighted. To be a bit more specific, all non-governmental is copyrighted unless explicitely stated. So, if you find a photo of a pretty hooker in FBI archives, bring it here :-) Mikkalai 06:36, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
those rules are simple, I should be able to understand those MaximusNukeage 04:39, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- By the way, a good source of 100% non-copyrighted images is Library of Congress (*The Library of Congress website). Each image there is supplied with its copyright status, description and reference number that may be placed into the wikipedia image page. I fetched quite few pics from there myself. Mikkalai 04:52, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)
If someone sends an email to the copyright holder and they grant permission, then you can use it?
- Best of all, if they grant permission to use under GFDL license or for free use. Please read Wikipedia:Image use policy for more details. Mikkalai 15:59, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] User Pic
Hi. I just found your user pic and, as part of the wikipedia image tagging project, I marked it as yours and noted that you release it into the public domain for copyright purposes. If this is inaccurate, please feel free to correct it. --InShaneee 18:09, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Isambard_Prince.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Isambard_Prince.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 21:33, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cowardly
If I am correct, it was you who redirected 'cowardly' to North Korea. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to cowardly. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. . --Ionius Mundus 02:07, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Bunny(lexx).jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Bunny(lexx).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:01, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:KJI.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:KJI.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Image:Kim il sung.jpg
Please remove Image:Kim il sung.jpg from your User page. It is a fair use image, and as such, may not be used in a User page or in a template. Corvus cornix 23:11, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
I can't have it on my page?? MaximusNukeage 14:17, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- No, sorry, fair use images can only be located on the articles that the fair use rationale was specified for. Corvus cornix 00:14, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
I see you still have the image on your User page. Please remove it. Corvus cornix 16:04, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Kai(lexx).jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Kai(lexx).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:08, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
