[edit] Thanks from Adoptee
Hi, Evilclown93. (Scary username, btw). Thanks for volunteering to help. Here is my initial question: If you are working on a new article, is there a safe/private space where you can do that and then release it to the wikipedia when it is in decent shape or is that pretty much against the spirit of collaborative writing? Jsarmi 19:47, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy-warn draft tempalte
I used the word "request" precsely not to sound like a demand, adn to be polite. This mirrors non-tempalted msgs I have left in teh past. How would you suggest wording this to be more polite and less threatening while making it clear that reapplying the tag without discussion may be a poor idea. Perhaps "please consider not..."? This msg is a copy of one posted on Wikipedia talk:Criteria for speedy deletion to be sure of getting your attention, feel free to respond there. DES (talk) 18:28, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Levi
By all means, recreate it then. I might've actually deleted it while looking at another page, sorry if I did. I undeleted it. David Fuchs(talk / frog blast the vent core!) 13:35, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Response about sk8r page
I remember that page, and in retrospect, PROD would have been more appropriate. I'm bothering you only because the page seems to have been deleted already, so if this was a mistaken deletion, you may wish to restore it. Thanks for the message. 69.201.182.76 23:35, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My RfA
Thank you for participating in my RFA, which passed with 53-1-0. I will put myself into the various tasks of a administrator immediately, and if I make any mistakes, feel free to shout at me or smack me in my head. Aquarius • talk 01:23, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orthodoxy/Sandbox
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Orthodoxy/Sandbox, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Orthodoxy/Sandbox fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Orthodoxy/Sandbox, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 18:17, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for a well-done report of the glitch in Twinkle! I couldn't have done it myself, and I now know how to deal with stuff like that. --Jordan Elder talk 06:09, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No problem
Don't worry, I took it as a reminder. As I said, I originally believed it to be vandalism (blanking), which is why I reverted at all. John Smith's 19:35, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My RfA
Hi Evil Clown. I'd like to thank you for your support of my RfA. It was closed at surprising 75/0/0, so I'm an admin now. MaxSem 21:20, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New Dawn Fades
Hi, I removed the speedy tag you placed here since it was inappropriate (the article is about a song, not about a musical group or performer) and because the song appears to be notable. If you feel the article should be deleted anyway, there is WP:PROD or WP:AFD. Thanks! Johnleemk | Talk 13:24, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re your suggestion re: my article "Tip wage credit"
Thank you for your comment/suggestion. After I got my article reasonably well developed last week, I set up the "Tip wage credit" article, then took the text of my draft article from my user page and copied it into the article. Then I deleted the text from my user page. So the only existing text "Tip wage credit" is the text that appears now in the article.
Before doing the cut and paste I looked for Wikipedia:xxx articles on moving pages. I found three. One covers moving/renaming articles in the main space, but had nothing in it about moving pages from User: page into the main space. The other two articles are about correcting cut/paste errors, but seem to be sysop-related, not user-related.
The bottom line, I guess, is to put the question to an administrator (somehow) to see what should be done. I don't think deleting the article is adviseable, since that's the only copy there is. I'm really new to Wikipedia, so do you have any suggestions on how to go about getting administrators involved in setting things right?? K. Kellogg-Smith 18:32, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your message
Thanks for the moral support, I appreciate it very much. If I decide to request for adminship again in 3 months, how should I do it? Ta. Daniil Maslyuk 01:15, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey dude, I don't want my sandbox deleted I just blanked the page because I don't need that code anymore.--NeilEvans 00:29, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks, EC93
Thanks for the workup! Every bit of additional information helps. BTW, are you a real evil clown like my hero, Pennywise? -- Cecropia 01:30, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Whoops, sorry.
When I deleted the user talk page, I meant to delete my own. I am actually said user but forgot to log in. I was deleting my own talk page. Andrewwski
