Deleted image

I'd like to repost the book cover of this entry as a {{Non-free logo}}:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sticky_%28comics%29

I have tried doing so but apparently only a Sysop can do it. Please undelete it so I can add the copyright information:

©2006 Dale Lazarov & Steve MacIsaac -- used with permission

Are you going to add a rationale for its fair use? Maxim(talk) 19:52, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

MOSNUM

Lol- thanks, even though MOSNUM applies only in main space! :-) I hope the move sticks this time. Geometry guy 21:39, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

That numeral still looks awkward to me... Maxim(talk) 21:43, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Yup, it sure looks awkward to me too, so thanks again! Geometry guy 21:46, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Million or "million"s

Hi Maxim. Thanks for moving the village pump page, As you may be aware we don't have a definate fugure but it certainly won't be millions. I tried to move the page before to calm people down but it wa smoved back again.
Cheers Ernst Stavro Blofeld $1 million? 12:40, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Please undelete image

This image is a placeholder image, and I was quite unaware that it was up for deletion. As you removed it, could I trouble you to reinstate it, so I might fix whatever licensing issue you found to be lacking? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 17:02, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Fut.perf did it already. Maxim(talk) 18:56, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Yep, he did. Where might I find the bot owners, so as to advise them that a notification bit for the article would be exceptionally helpful? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 18:58, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, the bot notified the uploader, but not the article talkpage. BetacommandBot used to do that before Beta lost the right to operate it. ST47, the operator of STBotI didn't notify talkpages of articles the image is used in. You can always ask ST47 to add that feature the next time he runs the bot, although he hasn't run it since May 24. Maxim(talk) 19:01, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Deletion History?

I noted that you deleted the imaage Image:Malcolm Thompson in Number 96.jpg. Looking at the history of the article on Malcolm Thompson, there was clearly discussion of the image and its legitimate use. If you could point to the history of your actions prior to deletion of this image, I would be very grateful. That is, where did you post this for discussion, and did you alert the original uploader? TokyoMetro (talk) 00:35, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

BetacommandBot did the image tagging and it also notified the file uploader. As after almost two weeks (usually one week is given), the issue was not fixed, I deleted the image. Do you wish to add a fair use rationale to the image and re-insert into the article? If you wish to, please indicate so and I will restore it for you to be able to add the rationale. Thank you, Maxim(talk) 00:42, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

DFUI

All through today are cleared to delete. Thanks for waiting. MBisanz talk 07:45, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome. My script seems to be a bit broken, so the deletion will wait a bit. Maxim(talk) 21:49, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

John Gaburick

I looked at the log and noticed that the bio-article of John Gaburick was deleted after a prod which was never contested. I was hoping that you could post on my talk page the last information that was on Gaburick's page. Regards Govvy (talk) 15:40, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Deleted image "Bahro.jpg"

Hey there. I noticed in the logs for "Bahro.jpg" that you deleted this image. This is most likely an image from a Ubisoft-published game, and as such would be covered under an agreement with Ubisoft that allows Wikipedia to use screenshots from their games. Would you please restore the image to Image:Bahro_(Myst).jpg, because there is a different image now occupying Image:Bahro.jpg? I will review the image and ensure that is covered by the agreement and add a fair-use rationale. Thank you! — OranL (talk) 17:49, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Can you point me to the article it was used in? Maxim(talk) 18:32, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Deleting a page for a move

When the afd on Bridlewood Community Elementary School was opened, the nominator moved the original one to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bridlewood Community Elementary School (1st nomination) as opposed to calling his nomination Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bridlewood Community Elementary School (2nd nomination). This completely messes up the AFD history template thing on the nominated articles talk page. To correct this, the page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bridlewood Community Elementary School (1st nomination) should be moved to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bridlewood Community Elementary School, but to do that the redirect at that page must be deleted. I have already tagged for CSD, so could you please delete it? Thanks, --Patar knight - chat/contributions 01:22, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Never mind, it's been done. Thanks anyways! --Patar knight - chat/contributions 21:46, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Calgary Hitmen

Hey, an editor at the FAC for Calgary Hitmen is expressing a concern over the quality of the prose. Would you be able to do a copyedit for me, to hopefully help alleviate his concerns? Thanks! Resolute 17:38, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

I'm quite busy at the moment... I'll take a look on Saturday. Is that O.K.? Maxim(talk) 01:22, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Would be awesome. I tagged you mainly because you have the most experience with FA's in the project. If you are too busy, I'll put out a general call. Thanks dude! Resolute 03:08, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Woo! Thanks for your help with the copyediting. Appreciate it! Resolute 01:26, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
