Thanks for your contributions to Religious Society of Friends. There is a project underway, if you would like to participate in it:

- I am very happy for your contributions. I would rather not add your name to the Project participants list. If you decide to join it, you can put your name and a short profile. I hope you will at least look at the project page, as it might give you ideas for articles to work on. Peace. Logophile 10:02, 4 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Trevithick1803Locomotive.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Trevithick1803Locomotive.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see User talk:Carnildo/images. 21:51, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for adding a license. Yes you do have to readd the images manually. OrphanBot has been designed to make this quite easy. You will see from the code for each article. The JPS 01:15, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Leeds-LeedsBridge-BandOfHopeFoundingBuilding.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Leeds-LeedsBridge-BandOfHopeFoundingBuilding.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 14:30, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image filenames and captions
Thanks for all the images. Please note for filenames and captions etc. that wikipedia uses the current ceremonial counties rather than historical or postal counties to describe where places are. Many thanks Mrsteviec 18:54, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I've edited one of your pictures
Hello. I edited your picture for Richmond Theatre to adjust for parallax and camera tilt. It is here - Image:Richmond Theatre portraitR.jpg. If you want to use it, go ahead. Check the GFDL notice and adjust it if you want. Regardless of what you do, thank's for contributing! Verne Equinox 23:40, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the kind note. Do you plan to use the revision? Verne Equinox 19:46, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Humphrey Lyttelton photo request (now cancelled)
Hi - please disregard this request (below, struck out) as it's now covered. I wasn't sure if it was good etiquette to delete the whole section or what - so I haven't!
Thanks and best wishes, Nomorenonotnever (talk) 10:55, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi. I am wondering if you are the owner of the excellent photo you submitted, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Humphrey_Lyttelton_blowing_his_horn.jpg ?
I'd like your permission to send it in to illustrate an obituary of HL on the International Trumpet Guild's website at http://www.trumpetguild.org/news/
They don't pay, but would be willing to give a photo credit and possibly a web link to a relevant photo site if you are a pro or serious photographer.
What do you think? I'd be very pleased if we could see your photo used in this way.
Thanks and best wishes

PS If you'd rather not do this by talk page just say and I'll give you an email address, or you give me one ... or whatever!
Lyttelton, Lyttelton, Lyttelton ... sorry!!!!
