[edit] Name change

I have attached a {{fact}} request to Max and his brother selecting the name: according to the ODNB the name was selected by the parents.--Old Moonraker (talk) 06:20, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

(My parents were the Raynes's best friends for many years, and I and my brothers grew up with their three children. I heard the story about the name from Max himself and, most recently, from his daughter, Susan Rayner.)
