He was "one of the most representative writers of German literature after World War II" despite being Swiss and living in Switzerland his entire life? --NEMT 15:44, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

In reply to the above: 'German literature' is probably meaning literature written in the German language, rather than that which belongs to Germany. Could be clarified though.

There is a poem listed in the external links, I don't think this qualifies as a reliable reference since it's a subjective interpretation of the play and doesn't necessarily add anything factual to the page.
