Are we sure about who he defeated? Entering that name (Charles "Champ" Walker, Jr. or variations of it) in the Biographical Directory doesn't yield any hits.

- Yeah, I live in the area, it was definitely Champ Walker. He's never been in Congress before, so he wouldn't be in the directory. Try a Google search. Everyking 04:25, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)
