MaxMan Group, established in 23 August 1983 is primary a car renting cooperation, it is considered[citation needed] as one of the pioneer renting companies in Egypt, with several head offices working all over the Republic.
The company started with its first fleet on 1983, with Lada and Peugeot cars, and has worked its way and now has a fleet that includes Toyota, Mercedes, Subaru, and many others. The company's chairman and founder is Mr. Alaa Hafez, a former policeman and was a candidate for Minister of Tourism in Egypt. The company is a pioneer for being the first in business in using computers, and is also known for creative offers and excursions, the company has achieved its position as the Best Renting Car company in 1993 and 1994, as its competitors agreed on this. The company is widely known[citation needed] in Egypt especially in Sinai's Red Sea Riviera. In 1990 the group had the Franchise of Europcar, 1992 Chrysler, and 2006 Zondaman in Egypt.
