Maxine Audley

Maxine Audley (29 April 1923 – 23 July 1992) was an English theatre and film actress.
She was an actress on television and film, and appeared in musicals and plays from the age of 19 until the year of her death. She was trained in both London and New York, with memorable roles such as Ada Leverson in The Trials of Oscar Wilde and Julia in Val Guest's thriller Hell Is a City. Her best remembered film role is as Anna Massey's mother in Michael Powell's Peeping Tom (1960).
