Maxime Raymond was a politician and business person in Quebec, Canada. [1]

He was born on December 25, 1883 in Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka and was an attorney.
[edit] Political Career
Raymond ran as a Liberal candidate in the district of Beauharnois in 1925 and won. He was re-elected in 1926, 1930, 1935 in the district of Beauharnois—Laprairie and 1940.
He left the Liberals and became the Leader of the Bloc Populaire Canadien on February 10, 1943. Raymond was re-elected in 1945, but did not run for re-election in 1949.
