Maximiliano Ariel Biancucchi Cuccitini, usually known as Maxi Biancucchi (born September 15, 1984 in Rosario), is an Argentine football attacking midfielder and forward.[1] He started his career playing for San Lorenzo of Argentina.[2] He also played for Sportivo Luqueño of Paraguay, where he won the 2006/2007 Apertura Championship of the Liga Paraguaya, before joining Flamengo of Brazil, in 2007.[1]

On August 5, 2007, he played his first match as a Flamengo player, a Campeonato Brasileiro match against Santos at Estádio Vila Belmiro, in which he came as a substitute for Roger.[3]

He is cousin of F.C. Barcelona player Lionel Messi.[4]
