Max Stotz (born 13 February 1912 in Mannswörth, Lower Austria, MIA 19 August 1943 near Vitebsk) was a German former Luftwaffe fighter ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves.
Max Stotz was officially credited with shooting down 189 enemy aircraft claimed in more than 700 combat missions. Following aerial combat on 19 August 1943 Stotz bailed out and was not seen again.
