Max Sedlmeyer

Max Sedlmeyer (died 1935) is a German Mountaineer and Climber. A member of the first team to attempt the North Face of the Eiger in 1935. After three days he and Karl Mehringer were overtaken by a storm at the top of the "Flat Iron" ("Bügeleisen" in German) feature of the face and both were killed.
